varitess® technical nonwovens
To produce these wetlaid nonwovens, we use high-purity pulps and synthetic fibres. The raw nonwoven materials are finished using impregnation and coating recipes that are tailored to the intended purpose. To achieve special surface properties, the nonwovens can be smoothed and/or coated. The majority of the wall covering grades are available based on FSC® pulp. Flame-retardant version or EU conformity assessment available on request.
All varitess® liner grades are certified in accordance with Oeko-Tex® Standard 100.
Thanks to its technological properties, varitess® is ideal for high-quality wall coverings and industrial applications: high levels of strength (wet and dry), extremely stable, can be further processed with ease, high temperature resistance, good ageing resistance, free of glass fibres, lightfast, permeable (air and water vapour).

Wallpapers, backing for flexible floor coverings, acoustic ceilings, liner for ceilings, digitally printed wallpapers, shop and stage decor, wall tattoos, base for functional or decorative coatings, veneers, special cores, protective packaging.
Flexible as regards further processing: various printing methods, lamination, lining, embossing, coating, impregnation and glueing.

For this area, we recommend our stable varitess® nonwovens. They are compatible with an extremely wide range of printing methods and are suitable for laminating or lining whenever high levels of dimensional stability and strength are required.

When it comes to highly demanding applications that require more in terms of strength, surfaces or a particular feel, our special papers and nonwovens are the ideal choice thanks to their wide range of properties.
