lahnit® high-quality film printing substrates
lahnit® are high end polypropylene films with a brilliant printed image. These films are superb for producing printed products where precise colour reproduction is the order of the day.
Because they are highly resistant to water, chemicals and the effects of temperature, lahnit® can also be used for labels and demanding applications outdoors. These films are characterised by their good printability, their versatility in terms of further processing, and their high edge tear strength.

Depending on the thickness, lahnit® is available coated on both sides (lahnit® Standard) or uncoated and corona-treated on both sides (lahnit® CARD BOARD).
lahnit® Standard is approved for direct food contact.
lahnit® Standard and lahnit® CARD BOARD offer a high level of printability in the context of offset, UV offset and screen printing. lahnit® Standard can also be printed on HP Indigo presses (colour series 4.0 and above).

Properties
BOPP (biaxially oriented) polypropylene film coated on both sides; does not contain any optical brighteners, does not contain any softeners, approved for direct contact with foodstuffs (except acidic foods, milk, dairy products); UV resistant, temperature-resistant from approx. -10°C to + 110°C depending on duration, usage and environmental conditions, brilliant high-resolution printed image, high level of whiteness, high level of opacity, high level of rigidity, high level of strength, dimensionally stable, resistance to chemicals (individual requirements must be tested in advance)
